Bangalow. Red Ginger!

China and Japan are not that far away from Australia. And if one compares a trip to these countries with a trip to Europe, it turns out they are even just around the corner really. Despite designating these places as only a stone's throw away, one cannot simply go there whenever one feels like Yum Cha and green tea. Considerations include mundane things like money and time ...

Like a short break to Asia is a visit at Red Ginger in Bangalow, New South Wales. 

While I spend a little time in the store, delving among cookbooks, admiring colorful vases and enjoying the fragrances of teas, I feel effectively reminded of a recent trip to Hong Kong; and with its exotic Chinese decor, I can easily describe Red Ginger as the most beautiful store in Bangalow. 

Having said that, it is not quite true, I’ve seen another few fantastic ones in this little hinterland town.

Tip: Enjoy Yum Cha on the covered veranda!
